Sometimes it happens that you don’t get that many books for Christmas. Horrible to contemplate, we know, but it does happen. Fortunately, we have a remedy for this! And it’s our Summer Sale!

It’s a fabulous time of year for us because we get to bring you even more of that great value on which we pride ourselves and it’s even better for you because an injection of great books, at beyond reasonable prices, is just the way to kick off a new year.

Pop into your nearest branch to browse our extensive markdowns. You’ll find, as always, plenty of discounted children’s books, heaps of recent fiction, non-fiction to suit all interests and all of our signature Was/Nows and Multibuys.

But that’s not all you’ll find in your nearest branch because we’re also running…

The Summer Sale Competition
Stand a chance to win one of two sensational hampers put together in conjunction with Penguin Random House!

All you have to do is find out what our Christmas Elves are up to now that their hard work is finally done. That’s right, now that Christmas has been accomplished and our little elves have played their part in making it a great one, we figured they deserve a little downtime.

There are holidaying elves to be found in every Bargain Books store so, regardless of where you live, all you have to do is pop into your nearest store, find them, and let us know how they’re spending their well-earned free time. When you’ve found some, snap a pic and dm or post that pic to your preferred platform – remembering to tag us, of course. Your post will enter you in the draw for one of those excellent hampers we mentioned earlier. Each hamper includes:

    • A signed copy of Killing Moon by Jo Nesbo
    • A signed copy of The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman
    • A signed copy of The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece by Tom Hanks
    • A Penguin Random House Backpack

Since you’re going to be calling in to browse the brilliant sales, you might as well have a look for the elves too. Surely, they won’t be too hard to find… and who can honestly say they don’t wonder what an elf gets up to on their holiday?

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
